Beef Rouladen

Thinly sliced beef for the perfect rouladen dish.

 

Cooking instructions:

Lay all pieces flat on wax paper.

Pat dry. Season with salt & pepper.

Spread a thin layer of traditional yellow or dijon mustard on each piece.

Pre-cook/sautee 1 package of bacon cut in small pieces with 1-2 medium white onions. (Don't completely cook the bacon as it will still cook when frying and baking the rouladen.)

Place a medium size dill pickle on each slice of beef, along with 2 spoonfuls of bacon/onion mixture.

Roll and secure with a tooth pick.

Sear all sides in a hot frying pan before placing all rouladen's in the oven in a casserole dish at 350f for 10-15 minutes/cooked through.
